Laurencekirk Travel Guide & Map - 20/07/2009

My employer, Thomas Gunn Navigation Services have recently launched an online book store called The Book Shop Online which has around 700,000 products for sale. New products are added weekly and there are some very good discounts on certain books.

I did a search on the website for 'Laurencekirk' and I found 2 books for sale. One is a travel guide titled STONEHAVEN, INVERURIE AND LAURENCEKIRK and the other is a map also titled STONEHAVEN, INVERURIE AND LAURENCEKIRK.

On The Book Shop Online the price of the travel guide is £11.19, whereas on Amazon the price is £12.59 (as of 20/07/2009). The atlas is also cheaper on The Book Shop Online.

If you do decide to shop on The Book Shop Online I would appreciate it.

Gala Information - 24/06/2009

I have received an e-mail from a member of the Gala commmittee with information about this months' Gala.. Below is the e-mail.

I am a member of the Laurencekirk gala committee and wanted to let all interested parties know the gala will run between 13th and 19th July with the main gala day on Saturday 18th in the memorial park. More updates - 28/05/2009

Today I received an e-mail from a local dog groomer, Fiona McHardy. Fiona asked if her dog grooming business could be added to the Dog Grooming page. I duly obliged.

As well as this I added a page for Schools in Laurencekirk.

A ponder, and other stuff - 27/05/2009

As most of you know by now, the train station in Laurencekirk has now reopened. I would like to what you all think. As usual, have your say here.

And to those of you who like a takeaway every now and again, I have updated the food and drink page to include the Lournie Chippers opening times as well as an updated Menu.

I plan to add more content over the weekend.
